At the beginning of December, we organised the AI and simulation-based engineering workshop, which took place at the Grandior Hotel in Prague. Our invitation accepted experts from leading European research institutions who presented talks about artificial intelligence and simulations in engineering.

IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center took part in the Researchers´ Night again. The evening event which opens doors to hundreds of scientific departments took place on 30 September. This year's theme was: WITH ALL THE SENSES.
ISC High Performance 2022 exceeded all expectations
ISC High Performance is considered the world’s oldest and Europe’s most significant event regarding high performance computing (HPC), machine learning and high-performance data analytics. After two years of online presence, the conference offered an opportunity for scientists, supercomputing centres, companies, and HPC enthusiasts to meet again.
We stood out at the Kariéra+ again
The fifteenth edition of Kariéra+ job fair took place on 5 April 2022 at the campus of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava and it met with the great interest of participants. IT4Innovations took this opportunity to attract all present attendees. It was presenting the activities of the National Supercomputing Center and the National Competence Centre in HPC of the Czech Republic.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the vast majority of conferences became virtual. The biggest high-performance computing event of this year, Supercomputing Conference 2021, provided an opportunity for scientists, supercomputing centres, companies, and HPC enthusiasts to meet again.
LUMI Roadshow
The online LUMI Roadshow event, which took place on Wednesday, 17th February, was attended by 50 participants. Branislav Jansík from the Supercomputing Services department presented the LUMI supercomputer and the opportunity to be involved in its pilot testing. Tomáš Karásek then introduced the participants to the National Competence Center in HPC.
