This access type aims to support selected research organisations to implement non-commercial (R&D&I) activities within a specific (field) focus.

The call is launched depending on current needs and opportunities. Eligible applicants are research organisations based in the Czech Republic.

 

1st GRANT COMPETITION FOR Institutional and Community Access

This call aims to support the use of e-INFRA CZ cloud services hosted on the Karolina supercomputer at IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center. These resources are ideal for hosting long-term, computationally intensive, and interactive services. However, they are not designed for long-term data storage or the establishment of repositories.

The services developed through this call will be accessible to the wider community, not just the applicant.

  • AMD EPYC™ 7H12, 64-core, 2.6 GHz processors

The period to use computational resources obtained: Expected to start on 30. 4. 2025. The drawdown is granted for a maximum of 24 months.


EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS

The evaluation will be conducted in three main categories:

  1. Scientific Readiness
  2. Computational Readiness
  3. Institutional Readiness

The evaluation will be carried out by independent reviewers in accordance with the evaluation guidelines of this call for proposals. Notification will be sent electronically to the e-mail address provided in the application.
