Training activities

IT4Innovations supports the scientific community and its users by organising high-quality courses, workshops, seminars, and other training events. The main aim of these activities is to comprehensively strengthen users’ skills for the effective use of IT4Innovations’ unique computing infrastructure. More broadly, IT4Innovations also seeks to raise awareness and knowledge in the fields of HPC, HPDA, QC, and AI on a nationwide scale, targeting not only academia but also the commercial sector.

Training events are offered as one- or two-day on-site courses, some delivered online and others in a hybrid format – available both on-site and online. Participation in the courses is free of charge, but registration is required via the training webpages, where detailed information is also provided. As course capacity is limited, participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

IT4Innovations coordinates the education of the wider scientific community in the Czech Republic on key topics of open science and the principles of FAIR data, under the umbrella of the EOSC-CZ Training Centre.
