The Plasma-PEPSC CoE in collaboration with IPP CAS, LECAD, ENCCS and Slovenian and Czech NCCs invite you to PIC (BIT1) modelling of the fusion plasma edge (EuroCC), held online and on-site at Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences on April 7 and 9, 2025.
We are pleased to invite you to a dedicated workshop on BIT1, an electrostatic Particle-in-Cell (PIC) Monte Carlo (MC) code optimized for plasma edge modeling. BIT1 operates in 1D spatial and 3D velocity space. Code is capable of simulating large scale systems with finest resolution in time and space.
