The technology of Low-Power WAN (LPWAN) IoT infrastructure with an innovative approach to detecting selected security incidents was transferred to Inotecha, Ltd in Lithuania within the SPLWAN-LT mini-project consisting of a consortium of two partners (academia and industry).
The project was supported by TETRAMAX within six months-long period 07-12/2020. The readiness level of the transferred technology is identified as TRL 6, and it’s documented by a successful demonstration of the implemented infrastructure in the relevant environment. The infrastructure is divided into a radio and core part. The testbed has been implemented in Klaipeda, a city on the Baltic Sea coast, and covers a territory of the seaport and north part of the city. The industrial partner Inotecha, Ltd. was capable of covering all technical aspects of the transferred technology and provide subsequent development towards new business opportunities.
