EUMaster4HPC Summer School welcomes students from universities around the world to get cutting-edge knowledge in HPC and HPC-related technologies for one week, from 18 to 24 August 2024 at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The Summer School will offer students practical insights into HPC and data analytics, addressing the growing demand for expertise in these areas. Participants will gain competencies in various tools and techniques, empowering them to tackle real-world challenges effectively.

What will you learn?

  • How to prepare data and understand its characteristics to create meaningful machine learning models on an HPC architecture.
  • To do this, you will use open-source programming languages such as R and Python.
  • You will also get access to IT4Innovations' computing infrastructure for hands-on exercises at the summer school.

Registration is open now until 31 May 2024 and enroll can EUMaster4HPC students and also external students, who must cover all expenses related to travel, accommodation, and attendance at the summer school.

What is EUMaster4HPC?

EUMaster4HPC opens the door to the supercomputing world to students. Third-year undergraduate students interested in supercomputing and willing to travel, can apply until 15 July for the EUMaster4HPC Master's programme. Universities’ tuition fees will be waived for eligible students who hold citizenship in EuroHPC Member States and Associated Countries, and these students will also get financial support for travel and accommodation.

Students can attend an online info session on 22 May.
