IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center is a leading research, development, and innovation centre active in the fields of High-Performance Computing (HPC), Data Analytics (HPDA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Computing (QC) and their applications. We have strong international links and employ more than 150 scientific, technical, and administrative staff. At present, IT4Innovations is running two supercomputers: Karolina (15.7 PFlop/s, installed in the summer of 2021), Barbora (849 TFlop/s, installed in the autumn of 2019), and is a member of the consortium operating LUMI, one of Europe's most powerful supercomputers. The VLQ quantum computer will be installed at IT4Innovations in 2025.            

We seek a

Business Manager                    

for Development Department             

            

Activity description:                

  • continuous analysis of potential customers, technologies, and the competitive landscape,             

  • developing and implementing business models and plans, including pricing strategies,

  • monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to customers and service usag

  • analyzing customer obstacles and identifying opportunities for service improvement,

  • developing the IT4Innovations service portfolio in collaboration with other teams,   

  • defining and implementing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) strategies.           

                              

Full-time equivalent: full-time employment

Type of job contract: fixed-term employment

Expected start of employment: 1. 4. 2025 or as agreed

                              

We require:                    

  • experience in Business Development and Strategic Planning,  

  • knowledge of Financial Planning,  

  • understanding of Intellectual Property Rights Management,     

  • strong Analytical and Communication Skills,       

  • proactive approach,

  • very good command of English,      

  • knowledge of utilizing external (high-performance) computing resources is desirable,

  • experience with projects funded from public resources is a significant advantage.
