On May 18, it will be seven years since our first supercomputer Anselm was fully put into operation. During this time at IT4Innovations, it has completed millions of core hours of calculations on many interesting projects.
However, it is now our duty to inform you, our users, that the warranty support for Anselm from the supplier is to end on May 18, 2020. Since then, Anselm will run in a maintenance mode until the end of the year 2020. During this period, we will no longer be able to fully guarantee the security and consistency of the stored data, hence it is highly recommended that sensitive data be stored not only on the Anselm storage.
