Dear fans of the National Supercomputing Center,

We bring you the most interesting news from IT4Innovations. We present a new method for optimising the performance of finite element computing, which achieves up to eight times faster computations, and a new web server for research into neurodegenerative diseases, developed in collaboration with leading scientific institutions.
We look back at the HPCSE 2024 international conference, which attracted experts from across Europe, and the EUMaster4HPC summer school we hosted in August. We have an interesting interview with a long-time user of IT4Innovations computational resources, Štěpán Sklenák, who focuses on quantum chemical calculations of zeolites.
