Meet IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center at the International Conference for High-Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC23), 12–17 November 2023 in Denver, CO. For 35 years, the SC conference has been the world's largest gathering of supercomputing professionals.
The Supercomputing Conference (SC) is a unique opportunity. It brings together thousands of scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, programmers, and developers. Now in its 35th year, this year's SC, themed 'I am HPC', will take place from 12–17 November in Denver, Colorado. This conference is where the supercomputing community from around the world comes together to share their ideas, contributions, and advances in the field of supercomputing technologies. We are pleased to announce that IT4Innovations will be participating in this event. IT4Innovations, together with CESNET and CERIT-SC, form the Czech strategic research infrastructure e-INFRA CZ. The SC conference allows us to present our research activities, the most powerful Czech supercomputers, and international projects we are working on to experts from all over the world.
One of the most popular and well-attended parts of the conference is the exhibition, which this year features over 400 exhibitors. You will find IT4Innovations at booth number 218. A map of all exhibitors can be found here.

- We operate the most powerful supercomputers in the Czech Republic, which we make available to Czech and foreign research teams from academia and the private sector to increase the competitiveness and innovation of Czech science and industry.
- The key research areas of IT4Innovations include big data processing and analysis, machine learning, quantum computing, the development of parallel scalable algorithms, solving computationally demanding engineering problems, advanced visualisation, virtual reality, modelling for nanotechnologies, and material design.

IT4Innovations in the SC23 programme:
- The SCALABLE project and the poster "SCALABLE - Lattice Boltzmann Leaps to Exascale" will be presented by Radim Vavřík, Lubomír Říha and Ondřej Vysocký from the Infrastructure Research Lab. Meet them on Tuesday, 14 November, from 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the poster reception in the DEF Concourse (poster panel 111).
- Karina Pešatová, together with representatives from the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Southern California, and Pawsey, will share their views on designing HPC outreach activities not only for the new generation of professionals in the Birds of Feather (BoF) session "Designing HPC Outreach Activities." The BoF will take place on Tuesday, 14 November, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in room 710.
